Registration
When you sign up with us, we will create your organisation on our platform with data we have requested from you. We will then invite the primary contact you have specified to sign up with our service. The primary contact will receive an email from Cami inviting them to set up their account.
Set up your account
- You will receive an email inviting you to sign up with Cami.
- Following the link in the email will take you to set a password.
- Once you have set your password, you will be taken to the dashboard.
- If the link in the email has expired, an existing user can resend the invite link to you through the dashboard, or you can click ‘Forgotten Password?’ to request a new link by email.

Add students and safeguarding leads to your organisation

To invite a student to join your organisation:
- Go to the 'Students' page on the left edge of the dashboard.
- Click the ‘ADD STUDENT’ button and a form will open up.
- Fill in the form with the student’s details.
- When you submit the form, an invite email will be sent to the student and the student will appear in the student table.
- If the student’s ‘last login’ field is blank - indicating that the user has not yet set up their account, a new invite link can be sent by clicking the pen icon on that student’s row in the table and clicking ‘RESEND INVITE’.
Once a student has been invited to join your organisation, they will be able to chat with Cami as soon as they have set up their account. Please note that, for this reason, students whose parent’s have opted-out of the use of Cami for their child should not be added through the dashboard.
To invite a designated safeguarding lead, follow the same steps on the ‘DSLs’ page.
